GIRAFFE

Giraffe
The giraffe was the last Hoptimist as Hans Gustav Ehrenreich designed in 1972. It stands out from the previous Hoptimists, as it is not the sign of a circle and an ellipse - the figure is rather more realistic and looks like three giraffes in silhouette.

Giraffes necks are constructed of flat springs, which move when pushing the middle head forward or backward. The eyes are magnets, and since the same poles sitting against each other creates a little pressure an elegant movement of the giraffes, reminiscent of the giraffe walk on the savannah.
